PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATIONS OF RECREATIONAL THERAPY (3). The study, analysis and application of Recreational Therapy (RT) concepts, processes, terminology, techniques and issues as they relate to the delivery of RT services. Historical and philosophical aspects of RT are also explored. Additionally, students are exposed to the variegated populations RT professionals work with, which include, but are not limited to, the following diagnostic groupings: cognitive, physical, sensory and communication, emotional, social and addictions.
