COU 509 Helping Relationships

This course will include the study of consultation theories, systems perspectives, and the practice of basic interviewing, assessment and counseling skills. Relevant research related to the practice of these skills will be studied, including the counselor/consultant and client/consultee characteristics that influence the helping process.
