PTH 5335 Physical Agents

Physical Agents (2).   This course introduces students to the scientific basis for the mechanisms of action of various therapeutic interventions, their indications for use and their proper administration.  The student will be required to integrate anatomical and physiological principles and demonstrate the proper application of cold, heat, light, sound, electricity and therapeutic massage to the human body.  Emphasis will be placed on the development of clinical rationale and decision
