Reading in the Content Areas (3). Designed to develop competence in teaching reading skills instruction in the areas of language arts, literature, mathematics, the sciences and the social studies; to briefly review research on the relationship between reading and success in a particular content area; and to examine practical suggestions and materials for effectively developing relevant reading skills.
