THE HAROLD LOYD MURPHY GRADUATE SCHOOL

The Harold Loyd Murphy Graduate School coordinates and oversees graduate programs beyond the baccalaureate level, collaborating with the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and the College of Education. These programs are designed to provide advanced academic and professional training across a range of disciplines.
The College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics offers the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology, along with Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Biology, Mathematics, and Forensic Science. The College of Health Sciences provides a variety of graduate programs, including the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (O.D.T.) and the Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.), as well as the Master of Science (M.S.) in Prosthetics and Orthotics and the Master of Rehabilitation Counseling (M.R.C.).
The College of Education offers both doctoral and master’s programs, including the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Law. Additional offerings include the Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Technology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree is available in multiple subject areas, including Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Biology, English/Language Arts, History, Mathematics, Music Education, Social Science, Special Education, School Counseling, Library Media, Health, Reading Specialist, Instructional Leadership, Physical Education, and General Science. The college also provides Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees in various fields, including Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Biology, History, Social Science, School Counseling, Library Education Media, Mathematics, Reading, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Instructional Leadership.
The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences offers the Master of Science (M.S.) in Social Psychology & Human Rights and the Master of Science (M.S.) in Social Work. Meanwhile, the College of Business Administration provides the Master of Accountancy (M.Acc.) and the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in business and finance.
All graduate programs are administered by the Murphy Graduate School, ensuring rigorous academic standards and professional development opportunities. Many of these programs are available in online formats, while select education degrees offer both traditional and alternative certification pathways to meet the diverse needs of students.
