AMERICAN LITERATURE II (3). Designed to give the student an understanding and appreciation of American writers form the Colonial period to the present. Prerequisite: ENG 131, ENG 132 or ENG 140 or ENG 141. (ENG 301, fall semester; ENG 302 spring semester).
