The process of managing IT in organizations is becoming more and more complex as it be- comes more important. Information technology/information systems management encom- passes all activities related to the planning, organizing, acquiring, maintaining, and control- ling of IT resources. The course is aimed at explaining the concepts of information technol- ogy/information systems management. In addition to several aspects of managing IT, the course explains the utilization of IT in improving the process of decision making. It is appro- priate for anyone who is using IT to improve organizational performances.
