MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (3).
This course examines the theoretical foundations of information systems and the develop- ment, management and application of Management Information Systems (MIS) for effective decision making. Topics include fundamental concepts of information systems; decision sup- port systems and expert systems; information systems planning and implementation; and end-user computing. Students are also required to develop an MIS project using IS Tools and languages Structured Query Language (SQL), Access and Visual Basic.
