HSC 5008 Pharmacology
PHARMACOLOGY (2).This course will expose students to the indications, mechanisms of action, precautions, common side effects and adverse reactions of routinely prescribed medications and classes of medications used to treat diagnoses commonly encountered in clinical practice. The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of prescription and frequently used over the counter medications will be discussed. This course integrates and expands chemistry, biology and physiology.
