LPL 780 Qualitative Analysis

This course assists students in acquiring basic knowledge and skills on qualitative research processes. The qualitative research process is presented as a series of ongoing and overlapping activities. Topics include the identification of the assumptions that support the qualitative research paradigm, the identification of research questions, the use of theory in the research process, participant selection, methods of data collection, data analysis strategies and tools (including the use of computerized data analysis), and the reporting of results.
