ART 350 Life-Figure Drawing
Introduction to traditional techniques for creating drawings that accurately and expressively portray the human figure. The class builds upon techniques for composition, measuring proportion, using line and creating value introduced in Art 209 & 210. Assignments provide practice in developing a basic structural knowledge of human anatomy through drawing the figure from observation and imagination in different situations and settings. A variety of both wet and dry drawing media may be utilized in this course. Prerequisite: ART 209 and ART 210. Offered when warranted.
