ART 460 Internship
INTERNSHIP (4). (For Graphic concentration only) Students are involved in off-campus learning experiences in a professional context related to studies. Students gain firsthand experience through applying their skills in a professional environment while still in college. Besides off campus learning, students are required to meet twice weekly with instructor to review progress and/or discuss problems along with submitting a weekly report to instructor. While the Department will try to help the student secure an internship, it is the responsibility of the student to secure and obtain departmental approval prior to the semester they wish to enroll in this class. Students are expected to perform 20 internship hours during the regular semester and 25 hours during a summer semester. Prerequisite: All students must have permission of instructor along with completing four (4) computer graphic classes above the 300 level with a grade of "C" or better.
