CIS 304 Programming in Java

PROGRAMMING IN JAVA (3). This course provides students with a comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the Java programming environment and features. Students will design, write, debug, and run Java stand-alone programs and Java applets. Topics covered include: Java language fundamental, syntax, elements, operators, flow control, declaration, access control, arrays, string manipulation, object-oriented programming, handling events, graphics, user interface components, common classes, layout manager, I/O operations. Prerequisite: CIS 206.
