PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (12). Participation in this course entails one semester or 16 weeks of supervised, full-day experience in assisting and teaching in an early childhood program. Placements are made on two levels (P-K and 1-3). The work is supervised by an on-site cooperating teacher and a university supervisor. Prerequisite: Admission to teacher education and completion of coursework. Advisor approval required.
