PSY 375 Introd to Dev Disabilities

INTRODUCTION TO DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (3). This course is an introduction to psychological issues in developmental disabilities with a primary focus on mental retardation and autism. Topics include history, definitions, assessment, biological and psychosocial causes, prevention and intervention, treatment, rights and legal issues, and psychopharmacology.
