INTRODUCTION TO MATERIALS (3). This course will cover the relationship between the structure, processing, properties, and performance of materials. The application of physical and chemical principles in the context of engineering materials: atomic bonding, crystal structure, defects, thermodynamics, and kinetics. Prerequisites: CHE 141 PHY 210.
