DATA SCIENCE BASICS (3) This course introduces data science’s basic concepts and tools: 1) The tools and soft skills required to effectively communicate the results to the stakeholders; 2) Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark; 3) The basic data analytics skills with Excel spreadsheets; 4) Importing data sets from various sources; 5) Prepare the data for analytics by cleaning and data wrangling; 6) Construct and evaluate machine learning models; 7) Conduct exploratory data analytics and 8) Present the result using plotting and visualization techniques.
