Residence Hall Facilities and Meal Plans
Residence hall facilities are available to full-time, traditional undergraduate students who meet the University's on-campus living requirements.
The total cost of room and board per semester or year depends on the residence hall selected. All students living in on-campus housing are required to participate in the full 19-meal-per-week board plan, which includes three meals per day and flex dollars that can be used at other dining locations on campus.
Students living off-campus may opt into the commuter meal plan by enrolling each semester through the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
All housing and meal charges are assessed to students' accounts. Students can access their account information through Hornets Access or visit the Office of Student Accounts for a detailed statement.
Dining Options on Campus
If a student loses their meal card, a $25 replacement fee will be charged. Students must visit the ID Card Office, located in the J. Garrick Hardy Student Center, for a replacement and further assistance.
Charges for room and board are payable in advance. All campus residence students are required to take meals in the commons (exception: Willetta McGinty Apartments) and to pay the board charge per semester, including sales taxes. Because of the low charge for board, no adjustments will be made for meals not taken. Additional charges will be made for special dietary needs beyond the regular menu and special food services when provided.
The schedule of charges for room and board per semester are as follows:
