ILP 574 Inst Technology for Sch Leader
This course is designed to address current research and theory, instructional design, access, delivery issues, and pragmatic ideas for integrating technology in the classroom to meet the needs of diverse learners and improve learning and achievement. Candidates will explore basic elements and benefits utilizing technology in the classroom and demonstrate an understanding of such technology. This course will promote administrative planning and leadership efforts in order to make technology initiatives a reality. Some topics addressed in this course include leadership and planning, technology and staff development, teaching and learning with technology, communication and public support, financial management, technology infrastructure (networks), and program evaluation. Candidates will also explore the implementation of data systems that provide actionable information, as well as technology tools and programs that will improve school
operations.
