This Program Evaluation course will provide students with knowledge and skills to understand and implement program evaluations to: (1) assess the effectiveness of social programs; (2) aid in new program development; and (3) justify resource allocation. Specifically, students will have the opportunity to read about methods commonly used to assess program effectiveness; critically review a variety of existing evaluation models; propose appropriate evaluation models for existing programs; and develop and present a completed evaluation study based on their own collection of data.
