Annual Loan Limits
The amount of money you can borrow in federal student loans depends on the loan type and your student status (undergraduate or graduate). For Direct Subsidized Loans and Direct Unsubsidized
Loans, there are limits on the amount you can borrow each academic year (annual loan limits) and the total amounts you can borrow for undergraduate and graduate study (aggregate loan
limits).
**Only $23,000 can be subsidized loans.
