PTH 6443 Intro to Orthopedic Phy Therap
Introduction to Orthopedic Physical Therapy (3). This course will expose students to the examination and evaluation of patients with musculoskeletal injuries of the extremities and spine. This course will integrate the concepts from embryology, physiology, histology, pathology, and biomechanics to help students understand the scientific basis for treatment of these conditions and the tools used to treat these conditions. The emphasis of this course is surgical as well as non-surgical management of these injuries.
