RCOU 501 Crisis Intervention
This course will offer students a theoretical and practical background in crisis intervention in a variety of settings. Students will examine relevant research and theory on crisis preparation and crisis intervention, and begin to develop fundamental crisis intervention skills. In addition, students will acquire crisis theories and examine relevant research on crisis and resolution. Primary emphasis during the course will be learning the practical models and skills for helping people in crisis.
