RCOU 511 Foundations of Rehabilitation Counseling
This course allows for an introduction to the field of vocational rehabilitation by presenting information on the history and development of the field, legal and legislative aspects of vocational rehabilitation, the role and function of the vocational rehabilitatoin professional, current practices and trends in the field, and various groups of persons with disabilities. The purpose of this course is to help students help students gain knowledge of the history of disablity in the United States and the development of the field of vocational rehabilitation.
