ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (3). Students learn the concepts needed to start and manage a small business, including franchises. Topics include overview of entrepreneurship, aspects of launching a new venture (including the business plan, legal aspects, marketing, financing) and problems connected with managing an ongoing venture such as accounting, marketing, computers, human relations, purchasing and inventories, and social responsibilities and ethics. Prerequisites: MGT 321, MKT 321, FIN 321, MGT 255.
