OTH 7212 Therapeutic Measurement
This course is designed to focus on the concepts of human performance and the effects of biomechanics and kinesiology on occupation. This course focuses on principles of kinesiology, including joint actions, internal and external forces, and their effects on functional motion. In this course section, students will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of kinesiology as it applies to and affects movement, ergonomics, and task completion. They will also demonstrate an understanding of biomechanical evaluation and principles of goniometry, manual muscle testing, and special tests. They will be able to apply those principles to various types of clients in all settings.
Prerequisite
Satisfactory progress in the ASU OT Program.
