OTH 7215 Capstone Development
OTH 7215 serves as the preparatory course for students entering the doctoral capstone phase of the curriculum design. In this introductory course, students will explore interests with the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC) in the following areas: clinical practice skills, research skills, administration, leadership, program and policy development, advocacy, education, and theory development (ACOTE, 2018). Students will also survey population needs and potential organization partnerships to accomplish the educational requirement.
Prerequisite
Students enrolled in this course will have completed HSC: 5006 Intro to Research and Evidence-Based Practice and HSC: 5007 Research in Health Professions.
Successful progression through the Occupational Therapy Program.
