OTH 7213 Foundational Principles of Occupational Therapy

This introductory course is designed to introduce the student to the essential concepts of occupational therapy. The course is organized around the history of occupational therapy, the philosophy of occupational therapy, the occupational therapy process, ethical practice, theories, models, frames of reference underlying occupational therapy practice, OT/OTA role delineation, collaboration, and supervision.
